I was abruptly surprised yesterday at a message reporting the Sheru Classic Results. Apparently this event that has been in a tar pit for a number of years since its inception has put on a show right under the radar from everyone. There was no coverage whatsoever from any of the major bodybuilding outlets whatsoever. The only answer I got was from an RX Muscle representative that stated that the show took place at the last minute. This of course would make scheduling a flight to India not only a complete nightmare but also a very expensive venture. As such, because of the surprise show, only David Henry was able to make it there in which he took a quite easy victory over some relatively unknown IFBB pros. However, there’s no reports right now on what prize money was or whether anyone would actually receive a payment.
Based on what I’ve seen and heard, it appears that the Sheru Classic will likely go down like Custard’s Last Stand and we’ll never see this event take place again….a huge blow to India which has struggled to establish an outpost in the bodybuilding theatre.
Here Are The Following Results:
1. David Henry – USA
2. Hamad Hamad – Pakistán
3. Raul Carrasco – España
4. Jan Kubik – Eslovaquia
5. Terzo Misad – Serbia
