Jack, Thank You for bringing this to my attention. As I have told you, I don’t frequent the Sioux Country website nor am I part of their Facebook, Twitter or Social Media presence so I was unaware of the website using our copyrighted material without our consent. The last time I was there was 2009 or 2010, can’t remember the exact year. Jason please confirm that you have been notified of the NPC News Online policy either here or via my e-mail, firstname.lastname@example.org
I am in agreement with the above.
RxMuscle is on-board with this. We don’t want other media outlets/websites using our pictures/videos for their contest coverage without permission.
I’ve asked Sioux to stop using my photos & he did. I’m on board & in agreement with all mentioned.
Muscle & Fitness Hers is in agreement with this request. Thank you for complying.
I am also in agreement with all of this.
In case you’re not up to date on the world of body-building then let me kick you some ballistics. John Lannigan runs a website community SiouxCountry.com and since 2009 he has made a ton of money from sponsors by providing up to the minute coverage on women’s competitions providing up to the moment pictures and video from these events….except there’s just one little problem…..he simply forgot to ask pretty please with sugar on top to the other companies to authorize him to post their content. Now, that would not be so much of an issue if it was just one or two pictures, however he not only posted pages upon pages of pictures to his site but he also removed the copyright logos from the picture from where they came from and never gave credit to them whatsoever…..made a cute little explanation that he did so to “make sure the pictures fit correctly on this site”. Yea, that’s a real good one there
Now just to point out for Anabolic Mayhem readers, I’m not giving any endorsements whatsoever or representing any of these companies….especially RX Muscle. However, all these companies spend a great deal of money in travel, camera equipment, transportation, and other expenses to provide this great content to the body-building and fitness fans out in the world at the risk of profit or loss. However SiouxCountry had a “profit, profit” situation to where he simply stayed at home and not only cut out the middleman but also the manufacturer as well.
SiouxCountry is claiming that he’s being punished because he refused to remove some content related to some slanderous content made about Jack Titone’s wife, Ann. Quite frankly I investigated the matter and found it to not even being related to this matter this was bound to happen sooner or later but honestly….SiouxCountry should have removed that vile and unsubstantiated thread that was posted by one of his moderators…it would not have saved him from the inevitable conclusion but he would have stayed “sucka free” as Louis Uridel loves to banter me with.
John Lannigan…SiouxCountry…..buddy….pal….broskie…….dude….homie….whatever….you should be very thankful that the pimp hand of all these companies did not slap you so hard that you flew head first into a judicial court rendering you to a cardboard condominium next to the Salvation Army. Also look on even brighter side….you still have your website and you still have your internet community. In fact, you can still post as many pictures as you want….but you’re going to have to go to the shows and take them yourself.
Till Next Time…..Be Remember To Spay and Neuter Your Pets.
